The Department of English in the Faculty of Arts at the Islamic University of Gaza is pleased to announce a call for papers to its 1st International Conference on Applied Linguistics and Literature to be held at the Islamic University of Gaza on 23-24 October 2012 .

This two-day interdisciplinary conference provides a meeting place for researchers and practitioners in the areas of applied linguistics and literature to present and share their research findings in a stimulating and interactive environment.

The conference aims to promote collaborative and networking opportunities between scholars and practitioners and to advance new perspectives and reflect on current research and practice in a variety of areas in applied linguistics and literature.
